xp on safemode screen & will not boot.

    xp on safemode screen & will not boot tried to boot with disk but no joy , can any body help...

    What do you mean? Are you saying that only safe mode does not boot, or that your operating system does not boot at all?

    the system will not boot ... just freezes in the menu ... (1)safe mode, (2)normal, when i choose safe mode or any other modes it just won't boot.... :-(
