I am a huge fan of linux, I have stayed loyal to Fedora since core 3. If only wine (wine is not an emulator ha ha), would get it to read the cd's in the drive instead of having to get nocd cracks , which I never bother with cause they usually have virus'. I would ditch windows all together if they did this.

At the momenet I dual boot windows xp for my games and linux for everything else. Bit of a pain having to reboot into windows just to play a game.

It is.. I agree, but there isn't really anything you can do about it... apart from looking for free open source games. Aye.. they do exist.. have you seen saubraten (cube2)? payware.. for the servers, but very good in a FPS kinda way.
Not my cup of tea. seems I gave up pc gaming about the same time I made the break from M$ spyware... as will you in time when you get the bug ;)

ewwwwwww.. warm flat beer for breakfast.. now that sucks.

Yeah I've looked at all the open source games, it's just Ive got alot of windows games that I don't really want to chuck away. Hence I've dualbooted, would luv to ditch windows altogether.

Urban Terror is a great FPS. It runs on Linux, Mac and Windows. It's an open source mod from quake. Can be downloaded standalone.
