I wasn't sure about this one. I know its generally good policy not to multi task if something is burning or encoding--but what about when remake/vobblanker is exporting edited DVD files?
Personally I refrain from mutlitasking during any of the process. Then again I run a couple different pc's. What type of processor do you have?
When doing anything with video processing, try not to multitask (now however if you are using quad core 9650 extreme, then that is another discussion)
Even on a dual core processor it's typically best not to multitask during any point of the process. There's certainly no harm in refraining as Bones pointed out. Hope this was helpful.
I multitask heavily on my Quad Core, even when burning (in fact even when burning multiple concurrent movie burns). Can't comment on Dual Core as i don't use any of my Dual's for anything intensive.
I wish I had a quad core...not so much for multi tasking as much for HC & DVD-RB Pro. I know your having a ball with that.
I am sure that creaky is down in the "holy crap that was fast" category when running DVD Rebuilder on his quad core beast, however I am right around the 60 to 70 minute mark with my dual core. Which I am very pleased with. Just my 2 cents. BTW- I refrain from multitasking as well.
