    Hello,

I am trying to find out if all current Blue Ray writers can write on DL disks?
Specifically the Verbatim 95531 30 GB disks.

Can all players read and play back these disks?

    Most appreciated,

    Mr. Panda

Thank goodness I heard from you.
Was just under the impresion that all burners cauld write on them.
    Am looking at the LG.
Here is what I have found out,

Verbatim does not currently make a DL BR disk.
    They are working on it.
They have stopped production of their HD DL BR disks.
I have had the best experience with Ver. DVD's in the past.
TDK is one of a handful of manufactures who is currently producing 50GB disks.
They also have Quad Layer 100GB disk.
So I am trrying to find out which burners can work with these.
    Will try calling LG tomarrow.

Would you happen to know if there is a tool such as Shrink that works with BR disks?
Where might I locate a list of all the tools that I can use for writing onto DL BR disks?
I have not had very good experience with Nero in the past.

    Thank you,

    Mr. Bear27
