Hi, fasfrank, herbsman, other gurus of AfterDawn:

I probably should have remembered to download software to Drive C: I downloaded your software to Drive G:, my aux. drive.(because I run several items from there). In this case the transit time requirement bogged down the processes. I should have remembered that Quicken, too, will only run from Drive C:

Comparatively, I "breezed through" DVD Decrypter(~37 min), DVD Shrink(in the 30's(min), BUT the burning, which is still in progress is predicted to be over 1 1/2 hours. I can live with these rates, but I wish they were faster. Got any fine tuning tips?

I am proud of my first success. I am still not confident about the sequence. It appears that unless I order some other software I will have to rely on DVD Shrink. It would be nice to have a one-stop package to back up DVDs. . . .

Oh, one of you mentors asked where I found the 50-page guide to DVD Shrink. The URL there is http://www.dvdr-digest.com/articles. Heck! There are many other guides there,too.

I appreciate the service you are providing.
