I'm looking to burn the iso of a game that I downloaded. The file is 6.7 gb and I'm wondering how to burn it to a dvd+rw so that i can play the game. i've tried to open the iso using dvd shrink, but it doesn't work. any ideas?

don't believe you can burn the iso to a dvd-5 disc b'cuz the iso contains both data and video images. Most likely you will need to burn to a dl disc

Games are not like movies. You can't compress them from their original size.

so it seems from what i've read and from what you have said that if i get a dual layer disc, i can burn the 6.7 gb game file.

my question is, what is a dual layer disc?

    is that a DVD±RW disc?

i read that somewhere my dvd burner does have dual layer burning capability.

dual layer is not dvd+/- R

dual layer is a dvd-9 disc with 2 layer on it capable of burning 8.5 Gb of data
