Hi. I'm a newbie in rippinŽ'. I use Smartripper 2.40 and when I chose the destination and the Start, I get the Rip-proces screen. Then it tries to get the key... It says Searchin key...
But then it doesn't get anywhere. I just jumps back and forth between DECSSPLUS and VobDec, and the after ages(!) I returns that it couldn't find any key. What gives??

Like said in our articles, if you experience CSS recognizing problems, try to launch PowerDVD, play few seconds of the movie and return back to Smart and try again.

Is it OK with WinDVD, cause I cant get PowerDVD to work on my computer.....

Should be. Open SmartRipper, open WinDVD (don't close SmartRipper), play 20-30 secs of the main movie (not the Fed crap, those are not CSS encoded in all discs), close WinDVD and try to rip with SmartRipper.

I've tried what you said but still no-go. I opened Smartripper and played the DVD for 2 minutes i WinDVD. But that didn't help one bit. Any ideas?
