DUAL AUDIO ON HOMEADE DVDS

    how do i author a dvd and have 2 audio tracks? i downloaded some anime and its in both english and japaneese, i wanted to know if i can burn it onto a dvd and make it so i can switch from english to japaneese and vice versa

    You need a DVD authoring Program that supports Multiple Selectable Audio Tracks..These Programs are usually very High end Programs and Cost a Lot of Cast but the new Ulead DVD workshop is supposed to support Multiple audio Tracks and a 30 day demo can be downloaded on the Ulead Web Site....

    Nope you can"t do it with DVD-Lab...Multilpe audio tracks is a Profecinal Feature that is Only found on Very Highend Authoring programs...

    THANK YOU- one more queation- how do i load subtitles? and if that is possible- can i rig it to have the english subs on when playing jap. audio and have them off when using english audio?

    I can't help with adding subtitles since the only time I use them is for backing up a disk where they're already authored in. After some looking I did find this guide:

    As far as automatically displaying the subtitles with a specific language, you should be able to implement that in a menu (although it wouldn't switch on or off automatically if you just change audio streams with your remote), but how you'd do it is beyond my knowledge.
