Ok well i have been running my 360 off my benq fp202w http://dealspl.us/BenQ-FP202W-Black-20-1-8ms-Widescreen-LCD-Monitor_5085 for a wile now and i can never seem to make it look good. I mean the colors just dont look HD quality the contrast is just poor when i ran my 360 through a sub 720p off brand tv through the same cables the contrast looked so much better. And advice for contrast ratios and brightness. Also i cant seem to figure out how to make it so i have black lines on the top and bottom so it stops stretching to 16:9 Any help here. I dont know how to describe it, my monitor is "nice" but the contrast is just poor when it does the 360, the colors are vibrant and look great but i just can see the different texture levels that i should in HD. I am running it at 1280x1024 with the microsoft vga cables

Seems to be a common complaint.

The only downside is that the overall image gets "washed out" when using the VGA cable

claim it has a "washed out" look while others swear by it. As it turns out, I wound up falling into the former camp. While I can notice a slight increase in sharpness, the colors are indeed washed out. Even with my colorblind eyes, I was shocked by how much this sucker dulls the color.
