starview 3 flash

    ijust flashed a starview 3 it took up to 20 mins to flash.it worked fine just a bit concerned that it took so long.i am useing a usb convertor to the rs232 conection.it will only let me in on com port 4.am i doing anything wrong.any ideas .

    What i meant was, have you windows vista on your pc?
    There has been alot of problems flashing boxes using vista, so people have had to find a pc with xp.
