    Hi

I have a Dell Inspiron 1300 which untill yesterday was running fine with Vista Premium on it then my problem started.

A message popped up saying my Wireless was turned off on my Inspiron and to turn it back on, I tried to but to no luck. I then called Dell and reported it but they turned around said the Inspiron wireless doesnt work on Vista, so I said to him ''then how on earth have I been using the Wireless on it for the last 6 months WITH Vista running on it?!'' his reply was a simple ''I dont know Sir'' so I asked him surely there must be Vista wireless drivers for the Dell Inspiron 1300, nor did he the answer to that Question so he hung up on me. I trued calling Dell again but they are closed but I really need this fixed for work reasons ASAP so if anyone out there that knows where i can find the Wireless Drivers for Vista on Dell Inspiron 1300, I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thank you

    B

    Thanks ddp,

I had the same problem as AgentZ619, and this fixed the problem instantly. (was a Intel 2200BG)

Beforehand the device was there but it would not detect any wireless connections, as soon as I uninstalled the device and used the Scan for new hardware option and let it do its thing, the wireless function became active and wireless connections were detected and connected OK.

    Thanks!
