My Directv HR-21 is about 3 months old and has worked fine. Last night, reecorded the Sox game before bed and this morning woke up and wated to see what happened and nothing. The unti would not even power on. I have to head to work now so I cannot check it out further but what does this sound like?
my unit locks up on occasion too. Try unplugging it from the wall for about 10 min, then plug it back in. If that doesn't work, you will have to call DirectTV.
