Black Screen After Video Card Install

    Hey all,

    I bought a new video card, installed the drivers and it told me to restart. After I did, it loaded up to the windows XP screen and when it SHOULD show me my password screen, I get nothing. Just stays blank.

    The new video card was a PNY GeForce 9500GT 512mb PCIe.

    It was working fine until I installed the drivers, however, the resolution was very low and I could not change any options within the advanced screen properties menu.

    Any ideas?

    Does it work in Safe mode? If it does, start windows in it and try to reinstall the driver.

    The original driver on the cd was bad. I had to download the latest one from the Nvidia website.
