hi has anyone any idea what these extra channels that have just came onto the arnet box are and should i be concerned that one of the channels tells me that i am using a illegal box and that i should phone v m to discuss the problem many thanks

I had the message appear on my box today next to Sky Sports 1.... hadnt been there before - is this the latest trick? Also does using a splitter and having both boxes connected help - I immediately plugged in the Virgin box and it updated settings so thought it had tried to upload an update and that would have triggered something?
It is better really to use a splitter and run both the subbed box and your FTA !!!!! as long as your signal is fine - the subbed box has a talkback feature the other has not for obvious reasons, and besides it is handy for catchup TV anyway, and yes the message is an old trick and is meant to put the wind up you, ignore or delete it, it's nothing to worry about.
no you dont need to worry because if you have a real Virgun Box and u connect it they will not do any thing because your official virgin box is connected
