Hope someone can help and forgive me if this is a stupid question. I'm considering getting a broadband and phone package from UPC but worried that the "unit" they need to install to provide this service will stop the Eurovox from working. At the moment the cable I use is routed through the window of the living room and directly to the Eurovox. I never had any digital decoder as was on the very basic package. If I ask them to route a second cable through a different room will that work? In other words get my broadband and phone services off that cable, TV off the other. Or might they insist on all routes into the house having that "unit"? Be great to hear from anyone who knows about this. Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the reply but I was wondering if that "unit" was used by UPC to prevent the Eurovox from decrypting the code ?
