Sorry if this is in the wrong post but I've been looking around but somehow can't find any FREE media centers. I have windows vista home edition so I cant get windows media center. Is there any programs out there for free that can play all my music/pics/video/ect... Thanks in advance. I'm planning to get a link to my tv so this would help out alot. (btw... XBMC doesn't work for some reason)
I know this is a old thread but if your looking for media centre style software do a google search for "media portal" its a open source project created to offer FREE software to browse, watch and listen to all formats of media in one program.. You can even set media portal to open on startup. There are many add ons that allow you to do different things like browse the net and use msn messenger from inside media portal itself.
