I got my 360 last christmas with halo 3 and some other games, I play loads of games with my bro for quite a few hours when we're bored like rock band or halo 3 etc. Error messages, 3 red lights, never had any of that! The 360 was manufactured in 2006 so its one of the lucky ones.

Any one else have this?

i had my box for 2 years played all the time and after 2 years i turned it on one day and tryed to play a game and bang RROD.
manufactured 2006 also so just because it hasnt happened yet doesnt mean it wont.

mine lasted 2 years,and what ive read most of them do.then bang rrod.im on my 3rd 1st one lasted 2yrs second refurb one from microsoft lasted 6 months.now ive just done the xclamp fix on the third.after that rrod.

had a launch console that lasted 2.5 years until it was banned, and never broke, sold it to a friend, and it still hasnt had any problems at all.

Subscribed as it'll be nice to read about consoles not affected by RROD for a change (and the reason i won't by a 360 is because the RROD problems seem far, far too widespread).

My daughter has a summer '06 console (ms25) that's still playing fine. I did have to clean the tray drive belt; the tray wasn't ejecting.

I had a spring '06 console (ms25) which I've sold to a friend and it too is still going strong.

I now have an Elite, early '07 model (Benq) and it's running fine. I have added a Whisper Max to it.

My nephew has a launch console which is also still playing fine. And that one boggles me because that kid treats that thing like crap.

well thats like mine, when i first got it (spring break of 05 i believe) i left it on for like 2 months straight at college. it was constantly playing COD2 or madden or some other game.

03/06 ms25 dvd drive and still a survivor!

I bought my 360 the week Halo 3 came out, it's one of the newer pro 360's with HDMI. I haven't had any RROD at all. Works fine.

i bought mine on release date in december 05....made 10/25/05 red ringed me 3 months ago replaced fan and paste also xclamp and was good to go no problems since. It

1st 360: bought christmas 06, ms28 drive, flashed, still online, still running smooth.

2nd 360: Summer 07, hitachi, forget which drive, still going strong.

current 360: August 08, lite-on, 60GB, no problems so far.
