I have a driver that is supposed to load before windows does, and it does the only problem is that my bios thinks that there is something wrong with my boot record and causes it not to load right. It just gives me the option to load windows or to check memory for errors after the driver finishes loading. After I select load windows it is like the driver never loaded at all. Is there anyway around the bios deciding what is right for me and just letting it boot the way I want it to? I am using a compaq d530 sff with the latest 786B2 BIOS installed on it and running vista ultimate. I have had this same setup on another computer and it worked fine also running vista. I appreciate any help you can give me.
