Ok I have a few bits in other threads so i thought I would put it all into one dedicated thread.... 1. What are the ranges and settings I need to use to scan my Eurovox PVR - am in telewest croydon area 2. Autosort Issues - I initially copied over my channel guide over to the PVR from my old Eurovox maxV... fine until a few channels decided to dissapear - so i used the same method I did on the maxV which was to simply press the update button and hey presto - it updated but autosorted my channels --- Gee Thanx -- why on earth would I want to do that!!! The only way I can find to switch off the autosort is if i did a full scan again - I try this to no avail... 3. As a last resort think I will just stick to Favs... BBC 1 and 2 will not show up in favs under Tv channels.. I have tried uploading guide to flkash program and it shows that it is in the fav section under tv progs but wont show in the box - so I think logicallly and link it to another fav and than try to delete it out of tv progs ( you know the old uninstall and reinstall ) but when i try to delete it just crashes the program.. Please help!!!
Re-load your CDF from the Max V. Then turn auto sort OFF. Menu, installation, user installation. Press yellow button, turn Fav Sort OFF. DO NOT press OK. Press exit. Then update channels. Fav sort defaults to on, so you have to do this each time you want to update channels. BTW why are you updating channels, is your Max V CDF not up to date?
I am updating channels as every now and again I loose scifi channel and the odd channel here and there...like setanta golf As for the autosort - that you mentioned - that is just a fav sort - the channel guides still sort when I update...
??? Now I am confused What are you talking about is it the EPG, if so make sure your time settings are correct.
No its not the EPG... I am talking about my channel listings - i have 273 or so channels that i have sorted into order that i wish to view them in... I did not wiah to use favourites - just as like Sly - a channel guide... similar order - so i sat there months ago and sorted them all out - and on the max v it was fine - i would update with no probs - ie they stay in that order... now when i update (due to channels being lost) all my channels sort alphabetically
