warnings from virgin with starview original

Hi people,a friends starview original has shut down after a message in bold red writing came up saying you will be prosecuted...mines fine at the mo but what can be done now..she lost a few channels & could not get them back so i deleted all her channels & did another full scan with emu on etc..a few new dodgy channels from virgin with warnings where found so i deleted them..the next day bold red warning saying you will be prosecuted then turned off...what can be done now as i stumped at what to do...thx guys

 

Its nothing to worry about, it is an old trick and it is on all VMs so get back to the box and sort it out, if it has shut down as you say then it is just a coincidence. Get back and check it, and check your own box because you will have it on there ETVS19.

Hi guys, Just turned my box to JJB channel and im getting the warning message?
Is this a problem , and how can they tell im using a starview?

 

It is an old trick, nothing to worry about just delete it if it is bohering you, and the answer to your question is "They can't", just don't ring the number lol.
