    Finally, something that will capture up to 1080i in a hardware encode of h.264 and optical AC-3 5.1 Dolby right to your PC.

    I started this thread for support of the drivers, editing your capture, tips, tricks, settings, and software used. There is already a few homebrew software mods out.

    **EDIT**
    This HD PVR uses component (analog) to capture upto 1080i. The powers that be, have the ability to turn off the analog outputs of most HD receivers. So, one day, you may need to search the key word "HDfury". Right now, these are legal.

    Here's why:
    [The HDfury is 100% HDCP compliant: no end-user access to decrypted analog video. Once screwed, this module becomes "a part of the display itself".]

    This new version of ArcSoft TotalMedia Extreme now supports burning AVCHD disks with 5.1 audio.
    TotalMedia Extreme Theater has support in 64 bit versions of Windows.
    TotalMedia Extreme Capture supports .M2TS file extension.
