the box super...............no channels

hi, please can some on help, i have the box super and it was working just fine, then my daughter was looking through the EPG guide and said the t.v went black, now only freeview channels are working,
i have gone through the menu and reset the box twice and turned the EMU on, chose a dolla sign channels to wait for the update,,, but nothing
please can some body help???

Go to set default key > press ok
Exit to s*y sports & let it update

 

noelyf ill try that thanks i was just going to say same. Last night all worked fine but today 1 ( not both) of my super boxes has gone off. alli get is the terrestrial channels not even freeview ones. I have also noticed a new scary channel lol! telling me my box is fraud ( was 510 on my SV3 box)

lol we just thought oopps! when we saw the fraud sec mess lol! didnt even bother to read it. funny coz its not shoewing up on my EV box just my Super boxes, maybe coz ive not updated the EU. But last night both the super boxes had to be updated as someone was trying to scare us lol!

 

Better off ignoring it linny. Its just v****n with their usual scare tactics

 

yes i did lol only got scared when box didnt work lol but all fine now thanks to you and AD

 

OK seems to be a problem. each time you go to a disc or UK style channel all goes blank, only way to get it back is to repeat steps above go to Menu 1570 etc. not even getting the shopping channel

Hi linny, you could always try a factory reset if you`re losing channels. Make sure you scan from the direct feed (no splitters etc).

oh its weird coz now all seems ok except just the style channel comes up with no frequency at the bottom and no kbps ( sorry cant remember what it says as im no where near tv) the +1 is ok, but has same problem last night some channels came up with no freq - probably coz they are changing them.

What really daft is that 1 box works fine yet the other one has this problem neither are on a splitter they are both direct feeds coming into house.

Oh plus did the factory re set last night.

i wouldn't mind but i dont even watch the damn things but OH aint got a scoobie - he can just about manage to change channels lol!

i think its the ghosties & gouls doing it lol!

 

linny, can you get the freqs from the other b0x & manual scan on the b0x with the missing channels.

 

yes but dont always work. i think the signal strength is not so good on the 2nd box pmd you an explanation lol!
