    Hallo all :

I am now with a G5 Power Tower Quad as my main machine

my query is : BEFSR41 modem - is this slowing me down
will a new router give me better up and down loads
I see many of these wireless routers have 2.4mhz and higher
I just do not like Wifi in the house - prefer cables

will a wifi router improve my speed / just shut off the wifi is possible

    Cheers in advance

Cable is deffinately the fastest option. If it is possible use cable as you will have faster connection times and less interferance. Only use wifi if you have to have more than 3 computers connect to that modem or you have a mobile phone with wirless g.
