I hope this is the right place to post this. Anyway, I have K-lite codec pack installed and set it up so that I can get thumbnail previews for things like flash videos. My problem is that it seems to make the preview of the first frame of the video--which is often completely black. Is there a way for me to set the thumbnail preview to be automatically 15 seconds into the video so I won't have a bunch of black thumbnail previews for my flash videos? Thanks for the help.

i also have that problem. i would like to be able to take a screenshot of a video & then set it up as the 1st frame.

but from what i understand, xp uses the 1st frame for the video thumbnails & should have nothing to do with codecs, vista uses a clip of the video instead of a screenshot though
