    Hello,

I guess this isn't the right place to ask, but it seems this is as close as it gets around here.
So I thought I'd ask here before registering to yet anĂ³ther forum.
However, please let me know where else to put this topic or what other community would be good for it.

    So here's my question:

I have a beamer for my own little theater-setup, only it sounds like a vacuum-cleaner.
And I'm sure it's mentally distracting me from really enjoying the movies.
Anyway, is there a way I could replace the fan or something?
    For as far as I've seen it's an 80mm-fan as computer-cases have/had.
I just don't know if it's safe for the lamp,
because maybe it doesn't move as much air or maybe it won't work with the wiring, or even damage something.
Maybe it even vibrates too hard so it damages the projector or whatever else.
I don't know if there's anything special about it...

Also, I've already turned down the fan's speed in the menus,
on top of that also reduced the lamp brightness which made the fan turn slower.

Please let me know anything about this, or of course the place to ask this.

    Thanks,
    - Damage Inc.
