Hi, Just bought a new Panasonic 42" Plasma TV and the reception from Starview is poor to say the least. How can I improve this?
I've tried both, but, I am wondering if the screen size is too big for Starview? I asked a chap today and he suggested gold plated scarts, would they help?
well I have mine connected to a 50" Plasma and I use gold plated, that was a personal choice though, are you sure its connected properly, you say both coax and scart... you dont need the coax only the scart and this goes to the AV output on your TV.. is this the same as your connection? try moving the scart from AV 1 to AV 2 or 3 and see if you get a better reception!!
I have the scart connected to the TV from Starview, tried different AV's, it appears blocky and is like watching the TV 'through a pane of glass' if you know what I mean?
try the settings on both the TV and starview boxes they might be on the wrong settings, on the starview press menu then user set up and go down to TV type this should be on Auto,
