i have 6 fans, and my motherboard only can control 3, so i plan on getting a fan controller, and i ive been researching some.

    i plan on getting this:

ive been reading about it, and there are temperature sensors, but how do they work? can somebody tell me how the sensor temps work? what do i need to get the sensors working if i do get the controller?

that was my alternative choice, but the one i linked just looks cool because it shows the rpm and temps. how off are they and how does it actually work?

This is a little "technical" for me but...

    I got the info here..

    http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/231470-29-controllers-work

This next bit isn't what your after exactly, but gives you an idea of what and why some sensors are better than others. (also technickel)

    Hope this helps.
