Hi. I have bought and downloaded some singles from the ITunes Apple Music Store. The song files are in AAC format. Do I need to somehow convert them to MP3 format for them to work on my portable MP3 player?

    Thanks,
    Todd

One method is to burn them to a CD as an audio file and then re-rip them as an MP3. Most mp3 players don't handle AAC's. The iPod however does (that's why iTunes Music store uses aac).

I don't think that there is an app that does a straight conversion.

I appreciate the response. Yep, thats what I did. Burned to a mini CD then ripped it out. I think you are right, cant find any conversion method out there. Thanks.
