    Hey there,
    I've been having problems with my HL-DT-ST DVD+-RW GWA4164B.

First thing is first, here are some details.

I have a Dell Dimension 3100 with ALL latest updates from dell.
I have the latest driver for this device.
I have all the latest BIOS and Firmwire and EVERYTHING.
I'm Running XP Media Centre Edition 2004 SP3 32-Bit [United Kingdom]
There are no possible updates for me to install for it, unless i missed something.

What the actual problem is, is that My drive can READ dvd's and cd's perfectly.
the problem is i cant WRITE DVD's or CD's
When i instert a blank cd or dvd nothing happens is just says please insert a disk.

And yes i have tried over 20+ different disks of different makes, none work and all same error.

    Please help!
    Thanks,

    Endrit10

Does anyone found a resolution to these issues. The drive no longer read or writes, The activity light comes on, but nothing happens on my father-in-law computer. Dell E310 xp media center.
    Check drivers updates etc.

Probably going to replace the drive. Any suggestions
    Thanks
