Hi iv just got a few starview super boxes im using the GTRom_Super_8.00e firmware but when i tunr the emu on im getting no update iv tried it on loads of channels and have left it for a long time i also tried a factory reset and started from installation and i tried reinstalling the firmware notings working for me please help im in dublin nthell
press menu 1570 set default key exit to sly movies and see if it updates,if not try the 709 firmware which you can find in eamos library under my sig.
the lazy update 0%,been there done that lol,i presume ur emu is on and y have found channels but is not updating stuck on 0%. try changing to another channel,wait 10 secs to see if it moves,if not try another channel,try bbc1,u can also set default key and exit menu1570-set default key,and powering off box at back after a min turn on.any of these will update ur box u will just have to try and see which one works for u. make sure u also have a direct feed from coaxial no splitters as this can give u a week signal and box not updating.
i got 9 boxes 2 daays ago and theres still 2 that wont update the 9 of them have acted up on me like is there a way to avoid this
well iv learnd as iv being doing one of these last 2 boxes tht iv fixed in the other 7 is that rte1 and other channels on that frequency wasnt coming in so when i scanned them in manually then tried the update wallaaaaaaa the update well........... updated
well as i said has being confirmed the last box no update didnt set default key didnt turn off box just done a manual scan on rte freq and then went back and it updated straight away how strange but true so theres a new way of moving the 0% update
