I know alot of people have been having problems with this game and I can't seem to play this thing with a frame rate higher than 10 half the time so I was wondering if there was any thing I could do to boost it just a bit my system specs are AMD Athlon 64 x2 Dual Core Processor 5400+ 2.80 GHz 2.00 GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS running vista ultimate X64 and yes it runs the same on windows xp x86 I have both dual boot any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance.
Well ,at first i thought it might have been Vista Ultimate and your 2GB ram as Vista is a resource hog, however you mentioned that it runs the same on XP as well. Because of this, I think that the bottleneck of your rig is the 8400 GS, beacuse this is a low-end card, and blacksite: area 52 looks to be quite demanding. Basically your video card doesn't cut it. Ok thanks for the reply I was sort of thinking that myself I guess I'll have to get a new card. Well I guess I shouldn't expect to much from a $40 card again thank you.
