I bought this enclosure http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pr...angid=EN&sku_id=0665000FS10109043&catid=25609 because I wanted to backup the files on my laptop. This is the laptop http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=3634672&lang=en& I took out the hard drive from the laptop but I can't get it to fit the enclosure. This is what it looks like when I try to connect it And this the casing I took off What am I doing wrong?
you left the adapter on the drive that connects to the motherboard, that is why it is sticking out so far & won't into the external interface.
