whenever i turn my computer on it loads up and goes to the xp loading page(the one with the running bar loading up) and then goes blank instead of going to the login page..just nothing, no mater how many time i restart ot always does the same thing now, but for the last 3 weeks its been doing it until 3 days ago it would work after the 3/4th reset, but now no matter how many times i reset absolutly nothing. i can run it in safemode, and have tried system restore to the earliest date i could and nothing. what could this be?
Hey aussiejoe Please reboot your computer into Safe Mode With Networking by doing the following: • Restart your computer • After pressing the power button, repeatedly tap the F8 key. • Instead of Windows loading as normal, the Advanced Options Menu should appear; • Select the option to run Windows in Safe Mode With Networking, then press Enter. • Choose the administrator's account. Please download the HijackThis zip file. Save it onto a convenient place in your computer, and then unzip the file. Rename HijackThis(.exe) to scanner(.exe). Next, run scanner(.exe). A window will pop up. • Click on the button which says Main Menu, then Do a system scan and save a logfile. • Please wait for the scan to be completed. • After the scan has completed, a text window will pop up. Please post the contents of this window here. This will also be located at hijackthis(.txt) in the same folder that HijackThis was originally saved. NOTE:: Do not fix anything using HijackThis, as this may also damage legitimate components of your computer. Best Regards

Hey aussiejoe Your Hijackthis log looks clean, so it may be possible that your problem is not a malware one. I will recommend following the instructions on this page: http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=147786 Otherwise, you might have to try a reinstall of Windows. Best Regards
