Hello and I am here to teach you how to setup almost anything to a VGA or monitor plug for very cheap! and you can plug in multiple objects into the same monitor!

Im using my setup for example, A nintendo Gamecube and an XBOX 360 to an HP monitor.

Okay heres somethings you need to know to get started.

If you look at the plugs connecting between a console like the gamecube you can see 3 outputs, they are:
[IMG]-Video, a normal video output for normal televisions
[IMG]WHITE-Sound Left, for stereo output or mono, if stereo then you should also have:
RED-Sound Right, for the right speaker output

Okay. the XBOX can have a lot of different outputs but to make the whole setup a lot easier im using an HD VGA cable that you can buy for the console for around AU$50 a bit heafty but its worth it trust me.

Next you will need a sound source, knowing Monitors you will need an average 3.5mm Audio Jack. It is usually green. The problem is that the audio jack in speakers is different to AV sound outputs...

To fix this problem you will need:
Something like this, this converts the two stereo plugs into a 3.5mm jack like the ones speakers use! it is cheap and can be acquired for about $2. buy one for each object using these plugs

If your speakers are using the same output as the plugs (the 3.5mm jack) then you will need a female to female adapter
    [IMG]
(they are the same at both ends) And can be picked up cheap.

If you are connecting multiple devices to one speaker then you will need this:
it simply just doubles the 3.5mm adapter. the end is a male 3.5mm adapter.

Now your setup is taking shape! here is how it should look now:
Confusing i know but it will become easier

Now that the Audio is out of the way we can begin with the video!

First you need to buy a cable that looks like this:
It is designed to convert the VGA from a computer into the S-VIDEO or RCA of a TV. It works backwards aswell. Dont bother with the White and Red as they are for audio and dont work for it or video...

Now if you have only one device plug it into your monitor and your set.

But if you have multiple devices you need this:
It is designed for 2 screens to 1 monitor but it works in revers aswell! then plug the 2 VGA cords in and then into the monitor and your set! if any problems ask!

Do note I am not responsible for damage to your system(s) I am just trying to help.
