I am trying to boot my computer from a cd. It's telling me I have to set the computer to boot from cd by changing the bios settings. I have no idea how to access the bios. Can anyone help. I am running xp professional

just press and hold the "delete" button as soon as you press the "power on" button, when the computer is booting up it will get you into the blue bios screen. From there find the section that has the boot order and make cdrom #1 and hard drive #2.

You can leave the cdrom as #1 all the time (that's how mine is setup). If there is no bootable cd in the drive, it will directly go to the hard drive.
