ok I was reading about the phone been flashed, they talk about site called wotan server for phone upgrades, have you ever reflashed a phone, and if so what steps did you take ?

yes I have flashed many, many many phones. Each manufacturer phone is flashed differently, and even then, the models are not all flashed the same way. We use special equipment to flash phones, since we operate a repair and unlocking shop here.

But 1st u'd need a datacable compatible with your phone, and since it's an ericsson, the battery will need to be fully charged ! Then u'd need the software. I don't know what software other guys use, but the ones we use wasn't "free" when we first got it.

Sometimes , well most times it's better if you just carry the phone to a reputable repair shop. They can get it done for you professionally, plus it might just spare u the heartache of you further so called 'destroying' the phone :)

well then I see your point, but thanks a lot for the advice, when I start looking into this I thought I might be easy to flash to phone, but like most things it requires time and some time to much effort as well, again thanks for the advice

the thing is mate that to repare the phone over here, would cost just as much as getting a new one, thats why I was looking on the forums to see if I could try and crack the case myself, but I will try and have a pop at it when I have time, I was looking at Ericsson K850i looks a good phone, what do you think
