starview 4 usb no sound/picture

    i have just purchased a sv4 usb and have updated firmware with beta v 1.02,all ok but now randomly losing picture or sound,when swithched on/off its ok but doesnt last long before losing picture or sound,would be grateful for any advice. thanks in advance. on tw scotland. i see there is a firmware v 1.01 in Eamos library which in the instructions it tells you to upload this version?

    forgot to say all cables scarts are tightly connected.

    maybe its an old post and moved to newer firmware,maybe factory reset then autoscan ur provider.do not scan thru splitters and are u using a splitter that u could be losing signal which affect picture.

    turn your key code on by pressing 1570 in the menu

    exit the menu so it saves then flick the power off and back on after a few seconds...

    i just posted a thread about this problem,

    if this don`t solve it then do a factory reset through the menu then format your usb stick and start again from scratch

    Copy the Firmware and Logo files onto the blank usb stick put it back in the starview and upload via the usb function in the menu

    Try and download an earlier version of the firmware and see if you have the same probs

    If this don`t work phone your supplier as it maybe a faulty box
