   When I capture movie clips from my mini DV camcorder using WIn XP Movie Maer, it stores it as .wmv file and sound is there. But when i use a DVD builder, it makes .avi file and there is no sound.

   Drag the AVI onto 'GSpot' and see what type of audio and codec.
