i bought my starview 3 box 3 months
ago, came here and updated it with the
latest update provided by 1 of your members..

for 2 months everything was fine, but over the
last 3-4 days the box just shuts down and re-boots..
sometimes it re-boots to a green screen so i power
off. today it re-booted while watching footy and on
display it said 0... so i left it off 2 hrs now its
    working again...

    the box super
    API version 7.09e_E
    boot version 8.0

Well jammo, you have posted that you have 7.09 firmware is this still the case or have you tried 8.00 for UK, your problem seems to be a recurring one for numerous people a lot depends on age of box, regarding firmware. The best advice I can give you is to try the older firmware 6.01, it has worked for some people and you have nothing to lose.

Yes we are all in that position at the minute, it's waiting game for now, and the version GTRom_Super_8.00e.exe is the latest for the UK, it is in Eamo's FTA Library at the bottom of post.

Where are you UK or Ireland, when you say used pin number to unlock, do you mean Cas System?
