I have a 8600GT Card. Every game I have tried to play works fine including new games like Dead Space and COD5. The odd thing is games made by activision that are based on movies or spiderman are always slow and glitchy. The graphics on these games are ok but they aren't as good as most of the other games I have that run fine. Is my video card not good for games built on that engine. I am playing web of shadows which is very slow and when stuff explodes completey stops doing anything for a few seconds. We also have madagascar 2 which runs ungodly slow even at 800 x 600 resolution. Anyone have any suggestions on why it would be doing this.
firstly i would suggest you check for a patch for the games you are having trouble with. second i would update my graphics drivers to the latest version. if that does not help then i would say its down to them being very shoddy ports and to generally steer clear of games that are made of films. btw cod5 is really good, don't you think? bit too similar to cod 4 though imo.
