I'm going to be mounting my tv on the wall in my living room, and was if there were special cables needed for this? I've seen on a couple sites cables listed as "In Wall" type.. does this matter? are they shielded more or is this just a ploy? i really dont want to drape my cables down the wall in front for all to see, but then again, i dont want to buy the wrong type of cables for inside a wall either.. thanks in advance!

The inwall type proabaly have extra shielding to protect themselves from RF interference from electrical cables that would also be inside your walls.(but the phrase "inwall" is proabaly just marketing)

If your going to be doing long runs of cables, try and get good quality cables, From what I have read about HDMI cables the cheaper brands are not good for long runs (10m/30ft plus)
