Hey i succsefully upgraded and unlocked and jailbrocken my iphone today with winpwn 2.5 beta and my iphone is now at firmware 2.0.2 unlocked but i have a sleight problem ... I plug my iphone into itunes and it says a new version of the iphone software is out (2.1) for you to download. But i already have 2.0.2 on my iphone so why does it say this ? Also when i try to install a app called digi drummer light for firmware 2.0.2 it says you are not on the correct formware to run the app. But i am on 2.0.2 so wtf ? please help thanks
i think 2.1 is higher than 2.0.2 and i believe applications need the latest firmware. 2.0.2 is different from 2.2, if you don't know. I'm a noob with phones but i know for sure 2.0.2 is lower than 2.1
Uh yeah 2.0.2 is lower than 2.1 Not to mention that Version 2.2 is already out so iTunes should be telling you to update to that as well.
