Hi. I have AoE 3. My product key won't work. I recently re-installed my Hard Drive (due to viral infections) but now that I am trying to re-install my AoE game, I am getting an incorrect product key message. It is not a typo, I am inputting the key correctly. I have tried to contact Microsoft but they aren't offering support for AoE anymore.I would rather keep it legal and avoid key gens Does anyone know a contact that will solve the issue. Any help, much appreciated Daragh
The only thing I could find out about this is you have to install from the disc you bought. On one site this is the quote about the same issue: "The product key that you had, will only work with your disc. That's the way that they did it to stop people buying fake versions of the game." If you are using your original disc, and you get no support from the manufacture...well, you might have to do what you have to do.
