Hi, I have an xbox 360 and im going to buy a blu-ray player, i have my choice of HDTV aswell, but its down to 2, i would like to hear your opinions please, both are Samsung one is LN40A550 the other pratically the same thing just bigger, the LN46A550... my questions are for when i play xbox 360 in HD, will there be a difference between sets? like most games are 720p atleast thats what they say, wont 720p look better on a 40''? cause its smaller? and not a 46'' because its ''streching'' it? or will both sets look exactly the same regardless of size? ... i just want the best quality picture for games
Both Samsung sets are excellent. Actually you can't go wrong. Consider this "Rule of 4" that I read someplace. How many feet do you sit from the set? Multiply times 4 inches. In other words, if you sit 10 feet away, a 40 inch set will be ideal. Get it? I say move up two notches as not to be disappointed. Therefore buy the Samsung LN46A550. I have one. Dynamite TV.
Thanks, I actually just went to my local futureshop, and saw both, looking at the 46 then the 40 made the 40 look to small for me haha so ya im taking the 46 thanks for your comment!
