updating nero from nero control center

    my question is if you update from nero control center i noticed you have to uninstall the older version first before installing the updates. now will that bring me to a trial version or is it just an update with no exspiration as my version is now? i have the older 8.1.1.0 version.

    At the Nero website note the difference between "update" and "upgrade".
