i have an old analogue mmds aerial with a black downconverter on the front. my question is, can this be used on a digital system or does the downconverter need to be replaced. it still works on the analogue system

should work grand. is the black part the plastic wedge shape on the end of the dipole ?ie feedhorn ? part coming out of mesh.. and do you have a metal box on back of the pole usually under the aerial ? as this is the downconverter in older mmds analogue aerials

hi guys , im 99% sure it wont work , you need to change the downconverter, there are 2 types, 214 and 222 depending where you live,

best to plug in a new digital box and see if it works, if not replace the downonverter
