hey people. I need some help here. I had faced blank screen problem with my game. When I start the game, there is sound and everything is working fine but there is nothing on the screen. Is it because my graphic is not good enough? I am currently using ATI Radeon 9550/ X1050 series. Please help. Thanks.
I think you will find that you are correct when you say that you're card is not good enough. If you look on the back of your WAW box, there are a few spec boxes (with blue headings), look at the one that says "graphic card" and on the top line of text inside this box it says "shader 3.0 or better"(this conveniently has a grey line through this, so you can't read it correctly) this is a significant jump from previous CoD games which ran shader 2.0. This is a massive problem for a lot of people, if you google, you will see it is common. I appreciate that technology moves forward rapidly but come on, making the new instalment uplayable for a lot of people, unless they purchase new graphic cards is ridiculous. I have two PC's and one runs an ATi X850 XT Platinum Edition which does not work, I get the black screen and just sound, same as you, in my other PC I got an Nvidia 8800gtx and it works fine. I just checked the specs of your card and unfortunately yours is shader 2.0 ---->CLICK HERE<---- Too late for an extra Xmas present do you think (a new card?)
