I am on vista (32 bit) Acer Aspire desktop.
In the control panel, in Hardware and Sound, under the recording tab it shows Aux (Atapi Internal Atapi Jack)option as Working. I don't know what this is. Is it Aux out, or Aux In? Am I aready using it, and don't know it?
    How does the feature work?

AUX means Auxillary, or sound from another source.

Its a level which is used to control the likes of a CD player or IPod, to play music over your speakers. If you want yo use your AUX port, its normally a Jack socket (Green) on the front or back of your PC. (Well With acer it is definatly)
