I am using CloneDVD Mobile for putting movies onto my iPod touch. Many times I like to plug my iPod into my t.v. and watch the movie. However, I'm confused as to which resolution is better. Should I use 480X280 which is the resolution used by CloneDVD Mobile or should I use the 640X312 used by Nero recode for watching the movies out of my iPod into my t.v.? Any advice as to which resolution to use would be well appreciated.
Hi, the bigger the resolution, better the quality of the video, 640x 480 i think, will get you the best picture quality when upscaling to the tv, 480X360 will look ok but unless you are sitting like 2 feet from the tv, you won't even notice, so to answer your question, if you want to encode your movies at 640x480 you can, you get bigger file size but better quality.
