new rom fix

hi guys i got the new rom fix for my nokia dbox 2 but now iam stuck could someone please tell me what i need to do and how to do it

 

you need to ftp it on to your box from a laptop if you have the right cables? and look for a Tut to help you as to this there are lots around

 

the nagrarom7 file to your

/var/scce
or
/var/keys folder

(it will overwrite a single file)

You should now have nagrarom7.bin, nagraram7.bin and nagraepr7.bin.

Delete all rom10 and rom11 files

Thats it reboot no need to scan

I does work, I have overwritten the file, deleted the files as instucted, hey presto back in business !

 

cheers guys what's the best FTP programe to use

 

core ftp lite it was ok for me u can get it on this site

 

I always use Filezilla....free and easy to use. Never had a problem with it mate. I think you can find it on this lovely site if ya hunt around.

 

cheers mate but i tryed it but it wouldnt connect it comes up with 530 login error so i think the password or user name has been changed is there any chance you could send me your image with the update on then i can just reflash the new image

 

hi guys,im quite new to this although i have flashed my own box. im not sure how to use the core ftp program.can someone put up instructions what to do ie idiots(me) guide. i have all the correct cables etc.

also there is a new image called lincsat on the big maq t/b. anyone know if this image is any good and if it auto rolls the keys
